We will be going to the hospital the morning of August 10th, at 7:00 AM, and the cesarean is the first one they have planned for the day. So if there are no emergencies, we should be having the cesarean by 9:00AM. The baby will be evaluated after that to see whether he is stable enough to be operated on immediately or not. He will most likely be operated on within the first 48 hours, and Dr. Lallier (pediatric surgeon) thinks that it will be immediately after he is born.
Pray for:
Safe delivery: The cesarean will be performed by Dr. Robert Gauthier (obstetrician). Pray that Jeremiah will come out safely with no bruising to his organs.
- Wisdom for the surgeon to know what procedure to use. Dr. Michel Lallier is the one in charge of the surgery for Jeremiah.
- Jeremiah not to get any infections during his surgery, or in the NICU.
- For parents, Alex and Lianne, to be a good testimony to the hospital staff, and have the strength needed during this critical time.
